So, instead we ventured into the Taipei MRT (subway system) and checked out some Chinese history at the National Palace Museum. It turns out that most of China's valuable artifacts are actually here in Taiwan. Centuries of vases, paintings, furniture, scriptures, etc are in the museum. A wing of one floor is full of vases from the Ming Dynasty. They also had a couple of traditional Chinese gardens which we walked through.
As some of you know, Chris LOVES to look at old stuff for hours and hours!! (Can you detect a little sarcasm?). Actually, we only got through 2 of the 3 of the museum's floors before Roger pulled the plug. If left up to her own, Chris would have left a whirlwind in her wake moving through that place so fast!
Taipei 101 was closed today so we'll hold that off until after we get Willie B. Next time the pictures will include us with our son! Check you tomorrow . . .

OK, hope I do this right. Clearly, you got the computer gene from Dad whereas I got the crazy Manson family morning hair.
Got your emails. Thanks so much for keeping me in the loop. You know Dad, "Jeezus, I dont know...some friggin' idiot lost some paper or some sh*t.." I know, it's like being right there at the kitchen table.
Seriously, though, I am so happy and proud of you both. I can't wait to see Willy. You're an amazing family and it's going to be such a joy to have a boy to add to the mix.
Be patient, (yeah, I know...) and soon you will have Willy with you. You know, you could use the time to imagine how awesome BIANCO is gonna look on the back of a Cubs jersey! :)
Love you all dearly.
